A devotee never wastes time but always uses his time in the Lord’s service. He remains tolerant and patient despite difficulties, detached, indifferent to sense gratification and prideless. He is always anxious to glorify the Lord, to chant His holy name with love, and to reside in the places where the Lord had His pastimes. Above all, he maintains hope against hope that he will receive the Lord’s mercy. We should seek out the association of such Vaisnavas.
