The sincere devotee of the Lord is always praying for the opportunity to satisfy the Lord and to satisfy others by helping them to increase their attachment to the service of the Lord. There is no other way to satisfy anybody in this material world. They may get some flickering happiness because of some material achievement. However, in their heart there will always be something lacking. Everybody is feeling that intense lacking in this material world. It is rare for a person to understand the need to hanker for the service of the Supreme Lord; however that potential spark is within the heart of every living being. A devotee of the Lord sees that spark in everyone—that by nature, everyone has a desire to serve Krishna. This is the real sense of unity that exists on the platform of Krishna consciousness.
