Krishna wants to fulfill our desires. Even if we want to enjoy separately from Him, Krishna will fulfill those desires. But because Krishna wants us to go back home, back to Godhead - even more then we want to go - He fulfills our desires in such a way that we are still not happy. That’s Krishna's mercy. That’s called 'causeless mercy'.
