So the question is not "Are you qualified?" but rather more appropriately it is "Are you desiring?" If your desire to continue your service is not strong, then it can be philosophically concluded that you will cultivate the desire for something else. But even if that is the case, then you still must depend upon Lord Krishna for the fulfillment of your desire.
