When we read examples in the scriptures about associates of the Lord who achieved such perfection, we may think that it is because they are associates of the Lord, but that we are just an ordinary jiva. Again, we should not be discouraged. Those examples are actually meant to build our faith. Prabhupada once said that we should not think that we cannot become like mother Yasoda and serve Krishna as she does. Everybody can have this opportunity.
