Srila Prabhupada always gives the example that it is the duty of the spiritual master to change the character of the disciple, and therefore, sometimes the spiritual master must take a risk of accepting many disciples for the sake of preaching. In other words, if the spiritual master does not accept risk, what is our hope? What other means do we have for giving up the fruits of our work and becoming purified if the spiritual master will not accept?
