The mentality that Lord Nityananda has when He appears in this world is that He is the servant of the Supreme Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He serves Lord Caitanya as His guru, He serves Lord Caitanya as His friend, and He serves Lord Caitanya as His servant, just as Lord Balarama played with Lord Krsna in these three different moods in Vraja.
