Yes, we must be dependent [upon the Lord], but we must seek the appropriate instructions to learn to become Krishna conscious ourselves. Nobody else is going to become Krishna conscious for us. This is also sometimes a misconception. They think that we simply go on struggling with this material nature and Krishna consciousness will some day manifest within our hearts. No, the real struggle is the struggle to remember Krishna. That should be our struggle in this world.
