A devotee who sees anyone tasting sense pleasure in this world knows that that person will eventually be due misery. He also knows that anyone who finds happiness in giving Krsna pleasure will eventually attain Krsna. There is no way to avoiding these two destinies.

A preacher knows that the first step in helping someone reconnect with the Lord is to help them become submissive to Krsna’s will. A preacher also knows that such submission will make the living entity happy.

The pure devotee, who is experiencing the pleasures of pure devotion, knows that this is the kind of happiness ultimately sought by every living being. He also knows that the living beings don’t know what they are looking for. He hopes to show them.

If a one is convinced, that "Yes, I will go on serving Krisna even if I have to wait a hundred births", if that is his faith, that Krisna will help him.

A Vaisnava is one who sees the good in others, who sees Krsna in every living entity’s heart, and who always prays to Krsna to be allowed to fan the spark of Krsna consciousness. If we want to preach Krsna consciousness, we must be able to see Krsna in others’ hearts. If we see Krsna, we will also see the good. If we can’t see the good in others, how will we preach?

What does it take to turn a living entity toward Krsna? It requires divine grace. Divine grace is distributed by Krsna’s devotees. To distribute this divine grace, the devotees preach.

We can see how much people who contact a Vaishnava are willing to develop their love for Krishna. This is an internal change. A Vaishnava’s success is measured by how much he or she is able to bring about this internal change in others.

Srila Prabhupada was so successful in his preaching because he thought only of his spiritual master’s order. Then, automatically, he was able to show compassion for the fallen souls. Such devotees continue to glorify the Lord wherever they are. Let us follow his example. That is the meaning of becoming a Prabhupadanuga.
