We must hear and we must serve. If we continue this process, we are guaranteed success. We will become purified and we will have the power to purify others by our connection with the disciplic succession.

We can carry Krsna with us by constantly chanting His holy name. Krsna is nondifferent from His name. We must develop the qualities to chant it honestly and constantly. To do so, we should read Prabhupada’s books.

Followers and wealth are useful in preaching, but they are not the criteria by which we measure a successful preacher. Only those who serve real Vaisnavas receive the empowerment to preach effectively.

People tend to respect those who practice religion. But if we are actually interested in becoming free from the material world, we must serve a Vaisnava and help him in his preaching. We may still gain respect, wealth, or followers, but attaining these things will not be our purpose.
